The Original Tattoo Goo
Monday, 22 October 2007

tattoogoo.png The Original Tattoo Goo in ointment form is the Natural Choice for healing your tattoo. Based with eight different natural ingredients, the "Original" is 99% Natural.

How to care for your new tattoo has been a subject of debate in the tattoo community for many years. Tattoo artists have had to recommend a variety of products available from your local drug store. These products were developed to prevent cuts, burns, scrapes and abrasions from getting infected and not for the healing of a new tattoo. The majority of these products contain petroleum or lanolin which when applied to a new tattoo can clog skin pores causing breakouts and actually delay your body's healing process. Plus lanolin pulls color from healing tattoos. A large number of people also have allergic reactions to these products and application to a new tattoo can cause skin reactions leading to loss of ink and permanent damage to your tattoo. Tattoo Goo contains no petroleum and no lanolin.

Tattoo Goo is the best product available for the treatment of your new tattoo. Unlike other commercially available products Tattoo Goo actively supports the tattoo community.

Please read all label directions carefully. Consult with your artist before use. Review ingredients for allergies. Discontiune use if any reaactions occur.

What have we been up to lately?
Sunday, 07 October 2007
We have completely remodled my shop from a new floor to new walls. We didn't want to tear up the exsisting carpet in the shop that went wall to wall so we laid down plastic over the area we wanted to lay the floor. Then placed tounge and grove plywood down and then laid new black and white tile squares over that. Then came the walls, nice white laminate boards, makes it easy to keep clean and disinfect and requires no tape, mud or paint, unlike drywall. Seperated the work areas from one large room to small private rooms to give customers a little privacy

Friends from Germany
Thursday, 27 September 2007
Mountainside Tattoo is now International, we had a couple people from Belin Germany come in and get tattooed this week. They didn't speak but a word or two of English, but we were able to do the exact custom tattoo on them that they wanted done with the help of a translator and friend that they were staying with here in town while they were visiting the US. Needless to say they left very happy. If they are ever back in the area visiting again they will be sure to stop back in and get some more art inked into their skin from us here at Mountainside Tattoo. They were both very nice and look forward to tattooing them again.

Body Piercing
Monday, 10 September 2007
We will be remodeling in the upcoming next few weeks. We are adding a piercing booth to the shop and will be having a state licensed piercer on duty. Our hours will be changing to full time also, with a tattoo artist working the day shift.

Hours changed
Thursday, 09 August 2007
We have cut back our hours during the week and won't be open till 5:00 pm Tues-Thurs. We will open once again during the day as soon as we can find someone to work those hours. There won't be anyone to answer the phone or make appointments until then, so please email us if you wish to set up an appointment.

Too Friggin Hot
Friday, 03 August 2007

For those of you who have gotten tattooed at the shop in the last couple days, you know how hot the shop has been. Well we just installed a new commercial grade AC in the shop and now it's cold enough to make your nipples hard (just kidding). So when you come in for your next tattoo (or your first) it will be nice and comfortable, which is how we like our customers to be.
